You will need an 18cm square tin.
200g dark choc 72% cocoa solids. Chopped
150g butter, cubed
4 medium eggs, 3 whole and one yolk……if that makes sense
85g self raising flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Preheat oven to 180/160c, grease and line the tin.
put chocolate and butter in heat proof bowl and melt over water. stir frequently. Leave to cool.
lightly beat eggs and yolk with 2 tablespoons of cold water.
Stir in sugar into the chocolate followed by the egg.
Sift in the flour and baking powder and gently fold together.
Pour in to tin and bake for 20 minutes
Leave to cool in the tin and turn on to chopping board
Cut into squares
