Really cheap and tasty recipe, goes down well with all the family
1 tablespoon oil
one chopped onion
1 chopped carrot
4-5 cooked sausages
400g of boiled rice
400g tin of chopped toms
one tablespoon of tom puree
pinch of mixed herbs
Heat oil in pan and add carrot and onion and cook until soft.
add the sausages and rice and stir for a minute.
add chopped toms and puree with the hers, stir and bring to the boil. simmer for 5 minutes adding water to thin if needed
serve with grated cheese and crusty bread
