Sorry I’ve not posted since Thursday night, I have been stupidly busy.
Friday was market day and even though it was a grey and dull day that didn’t stop the shoppers. We did really well and it was our best day yet. We sold a range of fabrics, wools and haberdashery and the ribbon did the best yet too. The
fabric is selling well, we sell it in fat quarter bundles, mini bolt and by the metre we have over 100 different prints cotton, calico, cotton poplin and poly cotton. I have have some exciting news but I cannot share it quite yet.
Friday evening is spent in its usual way with taking Ben to his swimming lesson. I’m so proud of him. He has cerebral palsy and swims only using one arm and limited kicking but he can swim a length……So proud.
Saturday I worked until 4pm and then went straight to bowling followed pizza hut with all the family for Ben’s birthday meal and we took his best friends with us.
I’ve been to a craft fair today for the RSPCA in our local town. We did really well here too. I sold embroidered cushions and 5 cross stitch kits and it was a fantastic way to promote the market stall.
I’ve got home to a lovely roast beef dinner with all the trimmings cooked by my lovely hubby and I got some freebie cake from the craft fair for dessert.
Now my next project
This will magically turn into a baby girls rail fence quilt that I’ve took an order for. Task for tonight is the cut strips ready for sewing.
