This is a super easy recipe that requires not alot of cooking.
I leave it in the slow cooker in the morning and like today after a rainy day at the market its a perfect hearty meal for a cold autumn day.
I got this recipe some time ago from the mse forum and have used it for a while.
put in the slow cooker the following –
Chop an onion
Cube stewing steak
Add cubed potatoes with skin left on.
Then add a crumbled oxo cube the add water to it just about covers everything.
Make sure you add lots of pepper.
Leave it on low for eight hours.
I buy puff pastry because it’s hard to make.
Roll out pastry. Cover pie and brush with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
In an oven set at 220 for about twenty minutes
