I love this recipe, it’s really easy and is perfect to go with a salad in the summer or in winter sausages or even steak.
I just throw this in a pie dish and hope for the best I don’t really weigh the ingredients
Mushrooms – always have lots
Sliced potatoes – I normally leave the skins on
A teaspoon of thyme.
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
Cheese – grated
Melt butter in a frying pan and add sliced mushrooms and cooked for a couple of minutes
Add in the Garlic and Thyme and cook for another minute
Layer sliced potatoes in the bottom and the dish, then add a layer of the mushroom mixture, then a layer of cheese and a sprinkle of Salt and Pepper.
Continue layering until all ingredients are used up, add a layer of the cheese to the top,
Place in a 200c oven for around 30-35 minutes
