A very busy week!

I’m sorry that my posts have been few a far between the last 7 – 10 days. We have been extremely busy with the market stall and two crafts fairs.

Friday, market day for us and a can safely say it was our best day yet. I had four customers show me there makes from the items we sold to them, its wonderful to see crafters of all ages. Even thought it was a cold day the shoppers were still out in force.

Saturday we attended a craft fair that was located inside St. Peters Church right in the heart of derby city centre, even though it was the quietest craft fair we have been to, we managed to make our table money back plus a bit extra. All the stalls looked great and we met some lovely people.

Sunday – Swarkstone Garden Centre 1st ever craft fair. I was a little worried being as it was the 1st event but god I really didn’t need to worry about a thing. There were over 50 stalls each different to each other and the setting was fantastic. The place was packed and I think every stall did really well. The doors opened at 10.30am to abide by Sunday laws and from then on the place was full to the brim, shoulder to shoulder. Without a doubt it was our best event this year. I took a lot  of stock just incase and by 12pm I was refilling Ribbons, Poms poms, Ric Rac and fabric but that wasn’t enough. Fabric and Pom Poms completely ran out by 3.30pm and we been taking orders for more.

We were situated right next to the brass band that played for 12pm – 1pm and 2pm-3pm. Absolutely Brilliant.

Thanks to all my customers and lovely people that gave us their support this weekend.xxxx
