A bit of a boost and perfect timing x

So you all know I’ve had an uncomfortable few weeks but then I realised the a year ago today I was in the local paper. The article was about bipolar disorder, crafting and starting a business.

It certainly gave me a positive boost. I can’t believe quite believe much has happened since this article. I started on the market two weeks after this was printed and now 12 months on the beautiful shop has been open for nearly 7 months. I’m so lucky.

And my Janome Memory Craft has been away this week and was returned to me yesterday looking like she’s been pampered and she’s working better than ever :). So while a didn’t have a machine and thought I would do some doodle stitching. I’ve decided I’m going to make a Home Sweet Home quilted wall hanging.

So I’ve made a start but still plenty to do.

I’m really enjoying this, it’s so much fun and the really good for my concentration at the minute.

The Haberdashery has been very busy this week too, lots of deliveries and lots of lovely reviews from the customers.  LOADS of fabric arrived. I really have the perfect job.

So all in all not a bad week. I think I need to give myself more credit when it comes to Bipolar. I’m not going to let it ruin my dreams, I just have to try harder to make sure I can cope. But with little episodes along the way these last 12 months I think I’m stronger than I give myself credit.

Thank you for reading xxxx
