Ok so have Bipolar but I still think I’m lucky 🙂 Why???
Because I’ve got my husband.
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last week. We’ve been together for 15 years in total. Most of the time he’s very calming, loving, caring, funny, inspiring and a fantastic Dad, the rest of the time he’s acts more nuts than me ( but that’s probably me rubbing off on him).
We’ve had our ups and downs over the years but its only made us stronger. When I’m poorly he’s so calm and caring.
He’s a fantastic Dad too. Our little boy Ben (not so little now) was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. It was a heart breaking moment when we were told, but it brought us closer together and every hospital appointment, every health meeting and every school visits we did it together. We picked each other up and carried on.
He is my best friend and soul mate and I don’t know where I’d be if we weren’t together.
Recently he’s been doing lots of work in the haberdashery. Firstly he turned the grotty room out the back into a gorgeous fabric room…
How brilliant is that 🙂
And then the mammoth task of turning the upstairs room. It was dark and dismal and eerie…. but now its a Sewing Studio for people to come and hire out sewing machines and attend workshops.
And hes made a dedicated space for my textile art
How lucky am I.
It was our anniversary on Wednesday so we trundled off to Buxton in Derbyshire. We love the Derbyshire Dales but it was our first time in Buxton.
We walked around the town, art galleries, quirky shops and then visited the Pavillion. What a gorgeous building and pretty gardens. Again I was inspired by the buildings and the colours.
We had a lovely time.
So I just want to say Thank you to hubby for being my best friend, for looking out for me, for making laugh, for being by my side when I’m ill, for making me feel special and loving me for me with all my faults.
I love you so much and I can’t wait to celebrate 20yrs. You are my soul mate.
